Irina & Andrea — Lake Como, Italy

Irina and Andrea’s Lake Como elopement brought together a modern approach to design with the historic character of Casa Vittoria.

The floral design took an unexpected direction, using green beans, cabbage, zucchini, and other organic elements in place of traditional arrangements. Kept largely monochromatic and sculptural, the installations felt more architectural than floral, creating a sharp contrast against the villa’s warm stone and classical details. An Italian pastry table added another layer to the setting without taking away from its simplicity.

At Casa Vittoria, the contrast between old and new carried throughout the photographs. Modern forms sat against weathered stone, traditional architecture, and the landscape of Lake Como. Irina and Andrea moved easily between more fashion-forward portraits and quieter moments together, allowing the setting to be part of the story without taking over.

Rain came and went throughout the afternoon, clearing just as we made our way onto the lake. The two of them drifted across the water as the mountains opened up around them, ending the evening on a much quieter note.
