Bianca and Frederick’s wedding weekend began the night before with a welcome gathering in Mendocino County’s wine country. Family and close friends gathered at a vineyard estate in the hills, surrounded by ivy-covered buildings, cypress trees, and rows of vines.Guests moved through the gardens with drinks in hand as the evening settled in. Toasts were shared, conversations continued, and the night passed easily. It was a relaxed start to the weekend.
The wedding day took place beneath the redwoods. The forest set the setting for the ceremony, grounding the day in its natural surroundings. Florals by Malva & Moss were designed to work with the landscape rather than stand apart from it.
Cocktail hour followed in a nearby meadow, where coupe glasses were tied with ribbon and garnished with herbs and citrus. The bar was styled with marigolds and cherry tomatoes, adding a simple, seasonal detail.
Dinner returned guests beneath the trees. Long and round tables were dressed in oat-toned linens, yellow-edged menus, and loose arrangements of citrus and warm blooms. Black Dog Farm Catering served beautifully prepared courses that matched the atmosphere of the evening. As night fell, the energy shifted. The dance floor glowed red beneath the trees as music filled the grove. Heart of Gold DJs kept the night moving, and guests stayed late, enjoying every moment.
The weekend was thoughtfully planned by Bari Elexa Events, whose approach allowed the celebration to feel both well-structured and effortless. From the garden welcome to the celebration beneath the redwoods, Bianca and Frederick’s wedding weekend was personal, intentional, and true to who they are.
